The collection is built by Acharya Gopal Khettry, a Hindu religious leader, disciple of famous saint-songwriter Bhaba Pagla. The collection includes manuscripts of songs written and composed by Bhaba Pagla, albums containing correspondence between the Bhaba Pagla and Gopal Khettry. He has also collected items such as newsletters and one LP record to commemorate his guru.
Extent: 3 Albums, 1 Manuscript , 1 LP Record Sleeve, 5 Newsletters.
Custodial history: Personal collection of the owner, Achrya Gopal Khettry.
Arrangement: Letters in the collection were kept in individual plastic pockets in 3 photo albums. Each letter was accompanied by a short note written by the collector. Letters were taken out from the album for remote capture and digitised alongside the respective notes. Items of the collection were kept in a wooden cupboard.
