Description: 20 kan, formerly in 5 satsu, now rebound in 1 vol. western style. 27.4 x 20 cm. Fukurotoji.
Movable type. Printing frame 23.4 x 17.9 cm. Double-line borders all round. Vertical rules between columns. Fishtail design on hanshin.
Kanbun text without kunten or kaeriten. 8 lines to page (large characters), 16 lines (small characters), 18 characters to line.
Original vermilion front covers of satsu 1 and 2 only. Title slips added on left with manuscript gedai (mid-Edo period) : (1-maki 1) 禮記曲禮 (等) ・・・ 仁; (2-maki 5) 禮記月令等・・・ 義.
Hashiragaki: Raiki maki no 1 (etc.) 禮記巻之一 (等) + folio no. In a modern western style half-leather binding.
Edition: Of the two movable type editions cited in Kokatsujiban no kenkyū (p. 375), both undated and both with printed commentary, this corresponds to Type 2.
Contents: Text of Liji 禮記, the Book of Rites, on ceremonies and ritual and on the development of Confucian philosophy, with commentary by Zheng Xuan 鄭玄.

Seals of ownership: Oblong red seal, Ryokuseidō toshoshō 綠靜堂圖書章 (seal of Sugihara Shinsai 杉原心齋) and square red seal, Arima-shi sakugendō toshoki 有馬氏溯源堂圖書記, on first page of each former satsu (maki 1, 5, 9, 13 and 17).
Manuscript notes: Kutōten in blue and red in maki 1-3 only. A few headnotes sparsely written in upper margins.
