This volume contains a large cosmographical work written at Damascus in 1006 AH (1598 CE) by Mehmet Aşık İbn-i Ömer ibn-i Bayezit, consisting of a mukaddime, two ebvap, and a hatime. It is one of the first examples of the transition from Mediaeval geography to modern geography, and was used extensively by Kâtip Çelebi as a source for his geographical works.
The text contains a single unvan.
This manuscript was copied in 1142 AH according to a versified chronogram at the end. The date 1794 has been added to the edges in large numerals.
