Fawn front cover (original ?) of maki 上 only. Title slip missing. Manuscript gedai: 釋氏要覽完. 3 satsu bound together within a western style cloth binding
.Edition: This appears to be a reprint, perhaps from the same blocks, of the blockprinted edition dated Kan'ei 寛永癸酉 (1633) published by Nakano Dōhan 中野道伴. The blocks, however, seem to have been acquired by Maekawa Moemonnojō 前川茂右衞門尉, who published the present undated edition under his own name. Previously, a Gozan-ban edition of this work had been published in the Nanbokuchō period (1333-92), based directly on a Song edition. In the present copy the original Song preface and closing note are reprinted.
