This volume contains a translation by Ahmet el-Dai of Naṣīr al-Dīn Ṭūsī’s Persian treatise on the computation of almanacs entitled Mukhtaṣar dar maᶜrifat-i taqvīm (مختصر در معرفت تقويم) and commonly referred to as Sī faṣl (’30 sections’).
The treatise contains several diagrams and tables.
This manuscript was completed on 17 Muharrem 1228 AH (20 January 1813 CE).
