This volume contains a work describing the powers appertaining to the formula Lā ilāha ilá Allāh (لا اله الى الله ; there is no god but God); didactic injunctions, and other such phrases, to Sufis; as well as anecdotes associated with specific Qur'anic verses. The title and the author of the present work are not provided, but the manuscript found in Marburg Staatsbibliothek provides the title given above, and lists the author as Şefkati (who cannot be traced in any of the references).
Included in the text are translations from the Arabic original of the Zahrat al-riyāḍ (زهرة الرياض) of Sulaymān ibn Dā’ūd al-Saqsīnī (died 550 AH/1155 CE).
On f 1r the present text is erroneously stated to be a translation by Haşmet Efendi of the Darvīsh-nāmah (درويشنامه) of Sayyid ᶜAlī al-Hamadānī.
The copyist's corrections to the main text can be found in the margins.
The text contains an illuminated unvan on f 1v.
The colophon can be found on f 31r, where the copyist is identified as Hüseyin Necip. The manuscript was copied in Rebiülevel 1207 AH (October-November 1792 CE).
