This volume contains I.-III. Defterler of a full commentary on the Mesnevi-yi manevi of Celaleddin Rumi, incorporating earlier works of the commentator explaining difficult verses of the poem, as well as ayat of the Qur'an and Aḥādīth found in the Mesnevi. The commentator is İsmail Rüsuhi Ankaravi (died 1041 AH/1631 CE), a Şeyh of the Mevlevi tarikat.
The contents of the work are: Index to I. Defter (ff 1v-2v); Prologue and I. Defter (ff 4v-164v); Index to II. Defter (ff 164v-165v); II. Defter (ff 167v-309v); Index to III. Defter (ff 310v-312v); III. Defter (ff 313v-527v).
There are also marginal annotations throughout the text.
The text contains small illuminated floral unvanlar on ff 4v, 167v, and 313v, and an astronomical diagram on f 163r.
This manuscript was copied at Kayseri by Halil İbn-i İbrahim from a manuscript belonging to Şeyh Salıh ül-Mevlevi. I. Defter was completed on 11 Recep 1075 AH (28 January 1665); II. Defter was completed on 6 Rebiülevel 1076 AH (16 September 1665 CE); III. Defter was completed on 16 Rebiüevel 1077 (16 October 1666 CE).
