This volume contains a calligraphic copy of a kaside evidently addressed to an Ottoman Sultan. Neither the name of the poet nor that of the Sultan is mentioned.
The text contains an illuminated unvan and six identical arabesques drawin in gold on each page.
There are worm holes throughout the work that have been repaired.
The colophon (f 9v) reads: ketebehü el-abd ül-kadim İtri. According to Müstakimzade, İtri spent some years in Iran and/or Iraq, where he refined his calligraphic style, and when kadı at Uzunköprü was known as Acem Kadı. He died in 1035 AH (1626-27 CE). This manuscript is likely to be, as implied by the colophon, a work of his old age. It might have been written for a new Sultan.
