This volume contains the collected poetry of the Şeyh-ül-İslâm Pirizade Mehmet, known as Sahıp (1085-1162 AH/1674-1749 CE), whose other writings include the first Ottoman translation of the Muqaddimah of Ibn Khaldun.
The poems are primarily religious in character.
The contents of the volume are: gazeller (ff 1v-23r); ebyat (f 23r); and tevarih (ff 23v-30r).
The text contains an illuminated unvan with a floral design on f 1v, and gilt leaf sprays in the borders on ff 1v-2r.
The colophon to the work is found on f 30r and states that the manuscript was copied by Molla İsmail, but does not provide a date of completion. It was likely copied in the early 19th century CE.
