This volume contains the following seven texts in both Arabic and Ottoman Turkish:
(I) ff 2v-5v : A brief tract without the author's name provided, on the legal rules of prayer and ablutions ;
(II) ff 3r-4v (margins) : Erbain hadis, forty Aḥādīth relating to prayer, compiled by İmad İbn-i Ebu Yezidü'd-Devani, with Ottoman Turkish comments. The text breaks off at the 22nd ḥadīth ;
(III) ff 5r-7r (margins) : Menazilu'l-Arifin by Şemseddin Sivasi ;
(IV) ff 6v-9v : Bayyinat ghalat al-ḥāmil (بينة غلط الحامل), a text on the various errors and corruptions that have crept into the use of Arabic texts. The work is incomplete, ending at the word التواُمان, and contains the title on the first page, alongside the name of the author, given as Kemalpaşazade ;
(V) ff 8v-10v (margins) : Al-Manhaj al-ḥanīf fī maᶜná ismihi al-laṭīf (المنهج الحنيف في معنى اسمه اللطيف), a tract on the benefit of repeating the name of good "" during prayer, as well as the meaning of this particular name, imperfect at the end;
(VI) ff 10v-31v : Kanun-i Cedid, or the new code, by Müftü Ebusuud. This copy contains several later additions, one of which is dated 1014 AH (1605-05 CE). Itis stated in the subscription that it has been transcribed from the original manuscript and is fuller in most places than in other copies of the same work ;
(VII) ff 32v-41r : Legal opinions of the same Müftü under the heading Maruzat Ebusuud Efendi rahamahi Allah.
This manuscript was copied between 1229 and 1232 (1814-18 CE) (ff 32r, 41r) by Mehmet et-Tusivi.

Haj. Khal. VI, p. 131 gives 1006 AH (1597-98 CE) as the date of composition of the Menazilü'l-arifin, and names the author as Abdülmecit İbn-i Muharrem, Şemseddin's nephew, who died in 1049 AH (1639-40 CE).
