Imprint: N.p.. Shōkan 昌觀, Kōan 3 弘安三年, 1280. Kanki on last fold reads: 弘安三年庚辰六月十五日爲末代 ／ 弘通以本願御真筆所奉摸寫也 ／ 勸進西方行者昌觀.
Description: 1 kan, 1 jō 帖 in 18 folds. First section missing. 25.5 x 8.5 cm. (average), each half-fold. Orihon.
Blockprint. Printing frame 21 x 8 cm. No borders. No vertical rules.
Kanbun text without kunten or reading marks. 4 lines to half-fold, 17 characters to line. Printed from a hanshita engraved in gyōsho style.
Dark green and gold figured silk brocade covers, with central title slip hand-lettered in late-Edo period. Gedai: Kōan-ban shōsan jōdokyō 弘安板稱讃浄土經. Title from naidai on last fold preceding kanki. Text paper dyed yellow.
Edition: Jōdokyō-ban. Corresponds to the description in Jōdokyō-ban no kenkyū 浄土教版の研究, item 26, pp. 71-2. Apparently the only pre-Edo edition.
Contents: With minor exceptions, contents are almost identical with Kumārajīva's translation of Amidakyō 阿彌陀經.

Condition: Good. Worm holes repaired by re-backing throughout. Text incomplete at beginning; collation with text in Taishō Tripitaka, vol. 12, no. 367, indicates that 129 lines are missing,
Impression: Shozuri or near. Slight over-inking of blocks in places.

Manuscript notes: Shikigo in black ink, dated Kyōtoku 2 (1453), on final half-fold following kanki reads: 享徳貳十一月十一日於仁勝寺勸進西方行者.
