Description: 10 kan, formerly in 10 satsu, rebound in 2 vols. western style. Folio numbering by individual works, not by maki. 26.5 x 18.9 cm. Fukurotoji.
Blockprint. Printing frame 20.6 x 16.4 cm. (average). Double-line borders. Fishtail design on hanshin.
Kanbun text, with printed okurigana and kaeriten. 8 lines to page, 17 characters to line.
Original dark blue front covers of satsu 1 and 6 only, with original printed title slips. Gedai: 密嚴諸秘釋 共計十冊 / 四十九種. Title from mokurokudai at head of each maki.
Hashiragaki: Hishaku maki 秘釋巻 [without maki no.] . Titles of individual works printed at head of hanshin, with folio nos. below. In a western style half-leather binding.
Edition: The only recorded edition. All copies of it are undated.
Contents: A collection of 49 separate works and commentaries on esoteric (Shingon) Buddhism, by the eminent Shingon monk Kakuban.
