Description: 1 kan, 1 satsu, in a chitsu case. ff. 32. 22.6 x 16.2 cm. Fukurotoji.
Blockprint. Printing frame 20.3 x 14.4 cm. Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin.
Hiragana-majiri text, with printed fiurigana, dakuten and kutōten. 13 lines to page, 21-23 characters to line.
Original dark blue covers, with traces of decorative design of grasses, now badly rubbed. Original printed title slip on left bearing gedai: Inanozasa (tsunogaki) Arima kokagami e-iri zen 稲野笹 (角書) 有馬小鑑ゑ入全. Title from mokurokudai and naidai at head of text. Hashiragaki: Kokagami 小鑑 + folio no.
Edition: The only pre-modern edition recorded.
Contents: An illustrated guide for pilgrims and travellers to the Arima hot spring resort near Kōbe, including also an account of the origins of Arima onsen and its association with Yakushi Nyorai 薬師如来.

Illustrations: 10 double-page sumizuri illustrations on ff. 3b-4a, 6b-7a, 8b-9a, 11b-12a, 16b-17a, 21b-22a, 24b-25a, 26b-27a, 28b-29a and 30b-31a. They depict lively scenes on the journey to Arima, the hot springs there, and their Buddhist associations. Artist not named.
Seals of ownership: Oblong red seal, Shūhō (or Akimine) bunko 秋峰文庫, on fol. 1a.
