- Half-brown morocco album containing 114 albumen prints, each approx. 4¼ x 6 inches (10.8 x 15.2 cm), mounted two-per-page on each side of thick card leaves, titled and dated neatly in ink on the mounts, several pages loose, front free endpaper inscribed in ink Streatley etc.. 1869.This album contains personal family photographs taken by Hooper while on leave from his post in India and visiting Hertfordshire, England in October 1869 and between March-September 1879. Many of the photographs feature his family, including his sisters, and friends while on holiday in North Wales and Ireland.
