- This volume contains the collected works of the Ottoman Turkish poet Vahyi. According to a contemporary note, written on the first page of the work, the author, Seyit Mehmet Vahyi, Şeyh of the Balata zeviyesi, was the son and successor of Seyit Hasan Nuri Efendi, who died in 1100 AH (1688-89 CE).Vahyi was born in Ramazan 1070 AH (May-June 1660 CE), and died in Cemaziülahir 1130 AH (May 1718 CE). In a rhymed epilogue, Feyzi, the author's son, says that his father, who had compiled his Divan at the age of twenty, had composed many poems since. Two years after his death, Feyzi collected all his compositions in the present work, entitled Külliyat. The date of compilation, 1132 AH (November-December 1719 CE), is expressed in the last line by the chronogram Nizam-i Divan oldu ziba. The contents of the volume are: ff 1v-4r : Rubaiyat composed during the author's pilgrimage to Mekke and at the Tomb of the Prophet صلعم;ff 4r-35v : Poems in praise of the Prophet صلعم;ff 36r-44v : Occasional poems composed on the feast days, with descriptions of Istanbul, of the spring, and other topics ; ff 45r-50v : Laudatory poems, one of which is addressed to the Grand Vezir Damat Ali Paşa (1125-28 AH/1713-16 CE), and another to the Müftü Mahmud Efendi (1125-26 AH/1713-15 CE), and a terkibibent ;ff 51r - 55r : Two pieces in rhymed prose, descriptive of female beauty, under the heading Bahr-i tavil der beyan-i evsaf-i serapay aza-yi canan ; ff 55v-117r : Gazeller in alphabetical order ; ff 117v-118r : Mukattaat ; ff 118v-127v : Chronograms, with dates ranging from 1090 AH (1679-80 CE) to 1127 AH (1715-16 CE) ; ff 128r-130v : An alphabetical series of rubaiyat ; ff 131r-132r : Tahmisat of gazeller by Yahya Efendi, Nasuhi, and Avni ; ff 132v-136r : Muameyat ; ff 136v-147v : Riddles and elğaz ;ff 148r-151v : Davetname, Duaname, and Tövbename ; ff 152r-158r : Letters to Hasan Paşa, governor of Baghdad ;ff 158r-161v : Letters to Küçük Muezzin Çelebi. The text contains one illuminated unvan. This manuscript was copied in Safer 1160 AH (May-June 1747 CE).
