- Secret reports of the visits of foreign ships to Japanese ports1850-1855. The manuscript contains several records of coastal defence works undertaken by anti-foreigner and anti-Bakufu fiefs. There is also an account by one Kobayashi Shigesuke 小林重介 of Commodore Perry's treaty mission in 1854 with a list of gifts exchanged.
