The material is in the form of paper based records and photographs. It consists of the case files of both civil and criminal offences. The files have been collected from various courts in the all the three regions of Malawi. In particular the districts which the files have been collected from are Lilongwe, Ntcheu, Fort Manning, Mzimba, Blantyre, Zomba, Kasungu and Karonga. This Material dates back to 1937.
