17 May 1854; 19 May 1854; 19 May 1854; 26 May 1854; 1 Jun 1854; 7 Jun 1854; 14 Jun 1854; 21 Jun [1854]; 30 Jun 1854; 8 Jul 1854; 31 Jul [1854]; 4 Aug 1854; 12 Aug 1854 (fragment); 20 Aug 1854; 25 Aug 1854; 31 Aug 1854; 5 Sep 1854; 19 Sep 1854; 29 Sep 1854; 6 Oct 1854; 11 Oct 1854; 13 Oct 1854; 25 Oct 1854; 29 Oct 1854; 6 Nov 1854; 10 Nov 1854; 13 Nov 1854; 30 Nov 1854; 3 Dec 1854; 8 Dec 1854; 13 Dec 1854; Dec 1954 ‘on passage from Crimea’; and 1 Feb 1955. With a drawing of named steamers transporting artillery, infantry, cavalry and reserve ammunition, dated 6 September: ‘This is an attempt to copy the official plan’.

(i). 10 Jul 1849. Receipt for subscription of Gentleman Cadet William Henry Watson to the Royal Military Academy at Woolwich.
(ii). 31 Jul 1849. Document appointing Watson as a Gentleman Cadet. Entered in the Office of Ordinance 11 Feb 1851.
(iii). 29 Jan 1852. A note from Watson, beginning ‘My dear General’.
(iv). 15 and 16 May 1855. Two printed Circulars to Officers who have returned from the Crimea regarding the presentation of medals.
(v). 11 July 1855. Letter to Lt. Watson, Royal Artillery, from the Office for Military Boards, originally accompanying the award of a medal ‘for Service in the Crimea’.
(vi). 1 April 1860. Document appointing Watson as Second Captain of a Battery, Royal Artillery.
(vii). 25 September 1869. Document appointing Watson as Captain of a Battery, Royal Artillery.
(viii). 5 July 1872. Document appointing Watson as Major, Royal Artillery.
(ix). 23 July 1879. Document appointing Watson as Lieutenant-Colonel in Our Land Forces.
