- Scope & Content:
-
Typed and bound diary, comprising a title-page and 183 typed (carbon) pages.

When the typed copy was prepared is not indicated, but the volume is accompanied by two items of related correspondence:
(1). London, 25 July 1947 (Knight, Frank and Rutley letterhead), Guy Coleridge to Dr P. H. Rawson: 'I am sending herewith Raper's Diary as promised. If you know Dixon's address would you please forward it to him with the request to return it to me [….] I think you will find it very interesting and I am sure you will take care of it.'
(2). Pall Mall, 8 August 1947, Kenneth Bond to 'Dickie': 'Passed to you please - Rawson let me have it on the way. Having read it - a great record of Rapers I consider - I send it on'.
