Thirteen scenes from the Vessantara Jataka, the last Birth Tale of the Buddha, depicted in a phrabot painting in the Thai Rattanakosin style by Irving Chan Johnson, Lim Su Qi and Rungnapa Kitiarsa, National University of Singapore.

1 กัณฑ์ทศพร (Kan Thosaphorn): Indra instructs Phusadi to be born as the mother of Phra Wetsandon (Vessantara)
2 กัณฑ์หิมพานต์ (Kan Himmaphan): Phra Wetsandon gives away a rain-bringing elephant and is exiled from his kingdom
3 กัณฑ์ทานกัณฑ์ (Kan Thankan): Phra Wetsandon gives away his horses and chariot
4 กัณฑ์วนปเวศน์ (Kan Wanapawet): Phra Wetsandon, his wife Matsi and their children set up a forest hermitage
5 กัณฑ์ชูชก (Kan Chuchok / Jujaka): The Brahmin Chuchok's wife Amida wants Wetsandon’s children to be her slaves to stop the jealous villagers from harassing her
6 กัณฑ์จุลพน (Kan Julaphon): Chuchok looks for Phra Wetsandon’s children. Meets the hunter Jetabut who chases him up a tree. Holding up a container of spices he tricks Jetabut into thinking that it contains a royal decree for Phra Wetsandon
7 กัณฑ์มหาพน (Kan Mahaphon): Chuchok asks the hermit Jut for the way to the hermitage
8 กัณฑ์กุมาร (Kan Kumarn): Chuchok asks Phra Wetsandon for the children. Phra Wetsandon agrees, but weeps with sorrow while the children hide in a pond
9 กัณฑ์มัทรี (Kan Matsi): Three gods transform themselves into wild beasts to block Matsi’s path so she does not witness the children being given away
10 กัณฑ์สักกบรรพ (Kan Sakkabap): Indra transforms himself into a Brahmin and asks for Matsi. Phra Wetsandon agrees and weeps
11 กัณฑ์มหาราช (Kan Maharat): Two gods transform themselves into Phra Wetsandon and Matsi and comfort the scared children at night
12 กัณฑ์ฉกษัตริย์ (Kan Chokasat): Phra Wetsandon’s parents buy the children from Chuchok. The family is reunited amidst great sorrow and happiness
13 กัณฑ์นครกัณ (Kan Nakhonkan): The royal family returns to the capital in a great procession.
