Once was a private collection of Mussa Aminov (1889–1971) the mudarris (a teacher in madrasah) and an imam in a masjid in Kokand. This collection represents the reading materials of an Islamic theology teacher and a preacher of Islam.
Custodial history: Mussa Aminov (1889-1971) inherited this collection from his grandfather. He also added some new manuscripts to this collection.
Arrangement: Dr.Abdulatif Turdialiev is a director of the Kokand Literary Museum had organized and assisted in arranging the collection.
Origin of manuscripts: The manuscripts are assumed to have been written somewhere in the Central Asian region. Future research may enable the geographical origin of these manuscripts to be more accurately located.
