Summary of Contents: Collection of works on Sufism. Volume not dated; datable to the mid fifteenth century. Neat semi-calligraphic rounded naskh becoming a little compressed later, eventually switching to an archaic scribal nastaʿlīq (after f. 100), by multiple hands. Annotations and corrections in margins by later hands. Stamped foliation. Lacking original binding. Binding, red half leather IOL covers, stamp dated 14 May 1916. Folios rebound; cropped, water stained, wormholes, gauze overlay on folios at either end.Language(s): Persian and Arabic
a. ff. 1v-126vDelhi Persian 96(a) Treatise on litany, invocations, and remembrances for meditation in Sufi ritual by an author identifying himself simply as Jaʿfarī, inspired by the author’s master, Hamadhānī, `Alī ibn Muhammad 1314-1385.

Illuminated sarlawḥ on the opening folio, with gilt and blue rulings limited to folios 1v-2r.
The text on folio 117r (with the verso left blank) is repeated on folio 118r.
Author: Jaʿfarī جعفرىTitle: Awrād-i fatḥīyahTitle: اوراد فتحيّهb. f. 127Delhi Persian 96(b) Excerpt possibly from a historical work mentioning the emergence of an unidentified disease among Romans. This is followed by a ghazal on the appearance of a star identified as the Sitārah-i Shukr Yildūz by an unnamed author. This is followed by instructions on entering a mosque.
