Summary of Contents: Collection of miscellaneous works on Sufism. Defective at end. Volume not dated. Dateable to circa early nineteenth century. Arabic passages in rough naskh, and Persian in awkward, but distinct, nastaʿlīq. Stamped foliation throughout. Original covers lost; folios unbound. Wrapped in a detached and torn sheet of printed legislation for British India dated 1815; occasional faint Bengali notes. Condition fragile.1. ff. 1r-97vItem a.
Naqshbandī treatise on z̲ikr or divine remembrances and other observations by [Sayyid Shāh] Quṭb al-Dīn Muḥammad Ashraf Ḥaydar al-Ḥusayn al-Dihlavī [Khujandī], the khalīfah or successor to the Naqshbandī Ṣūfī, Shaykh Muḥammad Zubayr (d. 1152/1740), in whose honour this work is named.
The work consists of three faṣl.

Qādirī Ṣūfī ijāzat'nāmah or licence in which the spiritual genealogy of the subject, Khvājah Muḥammad Mīr, is traced through his deceased pīr and murshid, Mawlānā Sayyid Shāh Jamāl Allāh via prominent members of the Mujaddidī Naqshbandīyah.
The work begins with a doxology etcetera in Arabic with the rest in Persian, transcribed in naskh throughout.

1) The Chishtī Order, entitled Shajarah-'i silsilah-'i ʿāliyah-'i Chishtīyah, by Shaykh Pīr Muḥammad ibn Shaykh Amān Allāh (ff. 107v-109v). Not dated at end.
2) The Suhravardī Order, entitled Shajarah-'i munavvarah-'i Suhravardīyah, by an unnamed author, and which is defective at end (ff. 109v-111v). Not dated.
