The work heavily references as a later authority the commentary by the Timurid scholar and historian, ʿAbd al-Laṭīf the munshīʾ.

Small and tight scribal nastaʿlīq and shikastah āmīz.
Annotations and corrections in margins.
Stamped and Persian foliation.
Binding damaged, spine intact (tooled reddish brown leather exterior embellished with medallions and outer bands of oxidised silver); doublures reddish leather with rulings.
Folios unbound; cropped, wormholes, later repairs.
Condition very fragile.
