Volume not dated, but individual items (b, d, and k) are dated separately, ranging from 29 Z̲ī al-Ḥijjah 1035-16 Jumādá II 1036/21 September 1626-4 March 1627. Two separate summaries of contents appended at beginning. Scribal nastaʿlīq hands throughout. Annotations confirming the collation and correctness of many items. Annotations and corrections in margins throughout. Folios subsequently cut, remounted and rebound in IOL red half leather binding, stamp dated 11 Dec 1935; folios damaged heavily by wormholes; net overlay throughout; water stains. The work does not name the author, but describes him as a disciple of Yaʿqūb, that is, Yaʿqūb ibn ʿUs̲mān ibn Maḥmūd Ghaznavī Charkhī (d. 838/1434-5), himself the disciple of Bahāʾ al-Dīn Muḥammad Bukhārī the Naqshband (d. 791/1388).
According to a note on folio 217a, the author is identified as Mullā Muḥammad Amīn Gurgī or Kurgī, who otherwise remains unknown.
