Title: Baḥr al-mavvājTitle: بحر الموّاجFragment of the universal history with special reference to India, Baḥr al-mavvāj by Muḥammad ʿAlī Khān Anṣārī (incorrectly identified on title page as Akhbār al-salāṭīn)
Extract consists of baḥr 6 with is account for Timurid or Mughal rulers, extending from Nādir Shāh's invasion to the departure of Aḥmad Shāh Durrānī for Qandahar and his demise there
The work has been considered to be identical with the Tārīkh-i Muẓaffarī, also by the same author, produced to gain the patronage of the Nawab of Bengal and Orissa. However, according to Storey, the present work is distinguished by its tripartite division into volumes
