Album of miscellaneous documents, letters, drawings, tracings, and maps from native Indian and British East India Company sources (predominantly in English), comprising transcriptions of legends on campaign medals, seals of the Nizam of Hyderabad, Nawabs of Bengal and Mysore (Tipu Sultan), Persian inscriptions on guns acquired from Tipu Sultan, calligraphic copies of Persian poems praising Tipu Sultan's palaces and forts
Boards detatched, fine marbled end papers; binder's notice: Thomas de la Rue & Co. Ltd., London, bookbinding contractors to H.M. Government
Notes by Charles Ambrose Storey (1931) indicating the contents of the album were assembled under his guidence
