A signed and witnessed document certifying the marriage of Muḥammad Javād, son of Sayyid Muḥammad Ḥasan, and Fāṭimah Sulṭān Baygum, known as Gawhar Nisāʾ Baygum, daughter of Mīrzā ʿAqīl.

Nasta‘liq. Rubrics in red naskhī. 11 lines. Illuminated heading and margin of poor quality. Heading: Huva l-Mu’allif bayn al-qulūb. Additional inscription on reverse (nasta‘līq, 5 lines) dated 24 Zū l-Qa‘da 1299/7 October 1882. Tear near upper left corner. 88 x 60 cm.
