Title: ʿArz̤ah dāshtTitle: عرضه داشتPetition to unnamed royal addressee (with chatr) by Mr Major (?) stating that matters of state have repeatedly been submitted. However, the matter of the drought and famine (qaḥaṭ [va] makhmaṣah) affecting this country (īn dayār) has not been expedited. As a result, many corpses/carcasses are evident in villages. Writer only able to amass the amount of 200,000 rps with extreme difficulty; deposited in the kothi of Jagat Seth, Khvushhal Chand, and Maharajah Udot Chand. A portion is dispatched with Budh Singh, the vakīl of Maharajah Shitab Ray Bahadur Mansurjang. Concludes with a prayer for the addressee (i.e. Emperor Shāh ʿĀlam)
