- Letters of Florence Robinson sent from Paris during the French Revolution of 1848
- Scope & Content:
- A book containing handwritten copies of letters sent by (Helena Esther) Florence Robinson from Paris during 1848 to her friends Mrs Ashburnham and Lady B in London. This volume was dedicated by Florence to her brother, Sir John Stephen Robinson, 3rd Baronet of Rokeby Hall, Ireland, with a short letter to him at the start. The first letter is dated 24 Feb and the last 26 Jun 1900, and they describe many of the atrocities which occurred during this tumultuous time.
