Vat Misainyalam Collection of Buddhist Manuscripts.
Custodial history: The provenance of the material is unknown. Most probably many of the texts were copied within the temple when manuscripts were still used and the art of copying was taught.
Arrangement: Manuscripts are stored in cupboards and chests in the upper storey of the temple repository. The collection was organised by the National Library of Laos in collaboration with the temple. Manuscript codes are as used under Lao Ministry of Information and Culture 'Inventory of Palm-leaf Manuscripts in Six Provinces of Laos' (1988-1994).
