Vat That Khao Collection of Buddhist Manuscripts.
Custodial history: The provenance of the material is unknown. Most probably many of the texts were copied within the temple when manuscripts were still used and the art of copying was taught.
Arrangement: Manuscripts are stored in cupboards in a storeroom at the rear of the temple, which is reponsible for the organisation of the collection. Manuscript codes are as used under Lao Ministry of Information and Culture 'Inventory of Palm-leaf Manuscripts in Six Provinces of Laos' (1988-1994).
