This notepad contains two separate items, written from opposite ends of the pad.
Item 1; folios 1 and 2. Table of Contents Hakham Ezra Reuben Dangoor's מסייר אל זמאן (= Mover / Driver of Time), an encyclopedic work in Judeo-Arabic, presenting basic knowledge of Jewish theology, praxis, ethics, and great personae, alongside basic knowledge of universal ethics, wisdom, and technological progress.
Item 2; opening the pad in reverse direction, running from folio 16v to 16r to 15r. Legal rulings in brief from the book 'Rav Pe'alim' by our Rabbi Yosef Ḥayyim son of Elijah of Baghdad, author of Ben Ish Ḥay, known by the acrostic R.Y.Ḥ. Tov (pleasant fragrance). As indicated by the honorific 'of sainted memory', this list was compiled after R.Y.Ḥ. Tov's passing, which was in 1909.
