Summary of Contents: Collection of miscellaneous fragments, substantially comprised of an unidentified work on Sufism. Volume not dated; item b dated ([1] Ṣafar 1096/[7] January 1685). Annotations in margins. Lacking foliation. Lacking original binding. Paper dust wrapper (BEIC legal publication on the trade of tobacco and ganza, dated 30 January 1852); watermarked (crowned lion rampant guardant, in crowned oval frame; not dated); labels, torn and stained. Dated colophon (f. 103r): completed by Sayyid Aʿẓam Ḥusaynī for Miyān Shaykh Muḥammad Fāz̤il, midday Sunday, [1] Ṣafar 1096/[7] January 1685, in the reign of Emperor ʿĀlamgīr I.
Inelegant scribal nastaʿlīq frequently tending to shikastah āmīz by multiple hands.
Ends with a rough and incomplete transcription of sūrah Fātiḥah (Qurʾān, I: 1-3) by a later hand.
