Summary of Contents: Fine copy of a miscellaneous collection of works on Sufism and the Prophet Muḥammad, transcribed by Sayyid Muḥammad Nuʿmān Ḥasanī, a student and associate of the famous muḥaddis̲ of Dihlī, Shāh Valī Allāh(d. 1175/1762), according to items j and k. Volume not dated; item h dated (1157/1744-5), suggesting the volume was probably created in Delhi. Neat scribal naskh anticipating the style of Aḥmad Nayrīzī, mostly by the same scribe; Arabic quotations overlined in red ink, and occasional annotations in nastaʿlīq. Extensive annotations. Not foliated. Lacking original covers. Damaged and detached boards of different styles and origins: 1) tooled brown leather (injured by wormholes), 2) brown marbled paper over paste board Additional internal paper dust wrapper (list names of religious scholars under the dates November 1826-February 1830); torn and stained.
