Language(s): Persian and ArabicOfficial regnal chronicle written in refine prose and poetry covering the reign of the Safavid ruler, Shāh ʿAbbās I (d. 1038/1629), by his chief secretary, Iskandar Bayg the munshīʾ, completed in 1038/1628-9.
This copy begins with the muqaddimah, followed by the first ṣaḥīfah (comprising twelve maqālah), and ends with the second maqṣad.
Partially dated colophon (f. 453v): completed Thursday morning, 17 Jumādá al-S̲ānī of an unspecified year; datable to the early nineteenth century.
Polychrome rulings.
Multiple rough and awkward nastaʿlīq hands.

Detached tooled reddish leather boards.
