- Exegesis of the Pentateuch: Exodus
- Scope & Content:
-
Hakham Ezra Reuben Dangoor’s (HED’s) digest of various plain-sense commentaries on the Book of Exodus. These works were written by scholars of various orientations, including some affiliated with the religious Haskalah. This digest may also have been intended as a work in its own right.
Or 17100 (1): Commentary on Exodus condensed from the work Ha-rekhasim la-biḳ‘ah / הרכסים לבקעה (Altona, 1815; by Judah Leib b. Tsvi Hirsch Schapiro, 1743-1836).
Or 17100 (2): Digest of explanations and thematic discussions on passages from Exodus, from multiple sources including: Nidvot Pi / נדבות פי; Bikure ha-‘itim / בכורי העתים (year 5589 Anno Mundi), piece by ShaDaL (Samuel David Luzzatto); Ḥaye Mosheh / חיי משה; R.M.’Alef / רמ”א (?); and Binyan Shelomoh / בנין שלמה.
