Language(s): Persian, Arabic, UrduPolemic treatise broadly critiquing the doctrines of the Hindu or Vedantist tradition, written by the qānūngū of parganah Sāmānah who converted to Islam on 5 Shavvāl 1073/13 May 1663, ʿAbd al-Qavī, formerly named Har Kishan.
The work contains a rich seem of autobiographical and social information.
Dated colophon (f. 45r): completed by Quṭb al-Dīn known as Muḥammad Khūrram (sic) ibn Shaykh Muḥammad Anvar ibn Shaykh Ghulām Muḥammad Banī Isrāʾīl, resident of Rohtak in ṣūbah Shāhjahānābād (Delhi), Monday until Tuesday night, 11 Z̲ī Ḥijjah 1156/26 January 1744.
Scribal shikastah āmīz.
