Summary of Contents: Miscellaneous collection of Persian treatises on Urdu lexicography and grammar, comprised of three heterogeneous fragments from at least two separate sources. Volume not dated; item c dated (9 Rabīʿ al-S̲ānī 1151/27 July 1738) separately. Scribal nastaʿlīq and shikastah āmīz tending toward ‘Indian’ taʿlīq, by multiple hands. Annotations by multiple hands. Partial foliation in pencil. Lacking original binding. Binding damaged (combed marble paper with brown leather edging over delaminating and crumbling pasteboards; printed cotton along spine), labels. Folios bound; cropped, wormholes, later repairs. Condition fragile.Language(s): Persian and Urdu

Untitled Persian grammar, endorsed by later hands as Zāʾid al-favāʾid, by Muḥammad Munīr Khān, entitled Navvāb Munīr Khān entitled Aʿẓam al-Dawlah Muʿīn al-Mulk Qasvarjang, author of the Urdu treatise commenting on the Mas̲navī-'i maʿnavī of Rūmī Balkhī (see BL Delhi Persian 1016 a).
The treatise was dedicated to Emperor Akbar Shāh II on completion in 1221/1806.
The work comprises an introduction, five discourses, and a conclusion.

Dated colophon (f. 175v): completed by Rām Rāy (in red ink) from the collectaneous copy [in the possession] of Tīkchand (Tekchand) Dār (?), at Shāhjahānābād, 9 Rabīʿ al-S̲ānī RY 19 of Emperor Muḥammad Shāh (1151)/27 July 1738.
