There are five chapters, beginning on f3v, f7v, f15v, f493r and f504v respectively.
There is a seal on f1r bearing the legend "Aẓḥar Khān Sayyid ʿAlī 1201" above which are the words "al-Malik wa-l-Qābiḍ" in Arabic. This seal is also found on several other manuscripts in this collection.

Additions:There are marginal comments across the entirety of the manuscript, all of which appear to be in the same hand as the scribe.

Standard India Office half leather binding with wine-coloured marbled endpapers.

RSPA 1-118 were presented to the Royal Society in January 1792 by Sir William and Lady Jones. This manuscript was presented by Lady Jones.
The Royal Society's collection of 280 Persian and Arabic, and 86 Sanskrit manuscripts were transferred to the India Office Library in 1876.
