A collection of Zoroastrian works in Avestan (in Persian script) and Persian containing:

  • ff. 1v-37. Orhrmazd yasht, Avestan in Persian script
  • ff. 37r-45v. Sawgand nāmah, on taking oaths, in Persian
  • ff. 46r-61r. Obligations and religious observances in Persian
  • ff. 61v-73v. Naṣīḥat nāmah-i Buzurjmihr, advice of Buzurjmihr to king Nushirvan, in Persian
  • ff. 74r-81v. A Persian paraphrase of the ashem vōhū prayer
  • ff. 81v-84r. The sayings of Jamasp, in Persian
  • ff. 84v-99v. Teachings of Buzurjmihr, in Persian
  • ff. 100r-104r. A Persian paraphrase of the yatha ahū vairyō prayer
  • ff. 104v-139r. Kitāb-i Dādār ibn Dādūkht, in Persian, supposedly translated originally from Pahlavi. Answers of the high priest Dadar to questions from physicians who had been sent by the Roman emperor to the court of the Sasanian ruler

Colophon (f. 139r): copied by Dastūr Rustam son of Dastūr Tīrān for Dastūr Khusraw and dated Ashtad (26th day) of Fravardin month qadimi (old) 1226 AH (1811). An earlier colophon (f. 104r) specifies the Hijri rather than the Yazdagirdi era.

Former numbers: CXXXII A. Add MS 8994-8997 are all numbered “No. 75.”
