- This manuscript contains metrical discourses on biblical and doctrinal themes. These include texts by Yoḥannān bar Zu‘bī, copied in Madenḥāyā script at al-Qosh by ‘Isā bar Esha‘āyā, and metrical discourses on similar topics by Mār Gabriyel Ishoghab, Qatolīqā, and others, also in Madenḥāyā script.The text is copied in black ink with occasional smudging or water damage obscuring letters and words. The titles and section headings are indicated in red ink, with occasional content indicators in a different hand in the margins.The first text was copied in Tammuz 1896 CE and the second is likely from the same date.
