Custodial history: This manuscript, which is called Periyavalli Ammanai, is now under the custody of Shakunthala Kanthasamy from Amplanthurai centre Batticaloa . She is currently serving as a Samurthi Officer. She has inherited it from her father. She noted that she remembers her grandmother telling that this manuscript was preserved in her house since before her grandfather's time. She also noted although she does not have much knowledge about the manuscripts, she is currently protecting them as heirloom. This manuscript doesn't mention the year it was written. But based on its script ink, it can be assumed that it was written in the 19th century.
