Custodial history: This manuscript is currently under the custody of Kubenika Kanagasingam from Kokkaticholai, Batticaloa. He is currently working as a development officer. He said that he got the said manuscript from his mother through his father's mother, Thiruvenipillai Chelathangam. Amarar Thiruvenipillai's father Ma.Kalikuttipodi wrote this manuscript. He used to say that he had this manuscript in his house for a long time and even though his mother, Chinnamma, was capable of reading manuscript, he could not read it as well as she could, but he could read it to some extent. He said that Kubenika's father was Padayandar Gudi and mother was Kalinga Gudi and his ancestors were well-known Koothu artists of that time.
