Custodial history: This manuscript is the compilation of the Pilliyar story that exists under the guardianship of Dhangamma Palagapodi from Wellaveli, Batticaloa. This is from his maternal line He said it came to him through inheritance. His father was a potiya (land surveyor). Hence they got more manuscript in their vaults. He also said that it was in the vault and then they are destroyed due to the transfering to relatives, disaster, and war. He also mentioned that his children will maintain them after him.
