Custodial history: This manuscript collection was kept as a display in a glass case in the Chandrasekharapillaiyar temple in Colombuthurai. These manuscripts were found to be very dilapidated. Temple management council noted that this is 300 years old. The collection's history isn't predictable due to natural disasters and civil war.
