- ff. 1-2. 14 November 1864. To an unidentified correspondent listing operatic excerpts in Cummings's repertoire and regarding his forthcoming travel from Scotland to Liverpool.
Letters to 'Schloesser', thought to be the pianist Adolph Schloesser, who taught at the Royal Academy of Music.
- ff. 3-4. 14 May 1906. On paper with a printed letterhead of The Guildhall School of Music, concerning a letter from Beethoven to Moscheles concerning tempo indications.
