الہی دے توقیق انسان کون
جو بندگی کرین تیری دل جان سون
تون پیدا کیا محض بندگی کے تین
سو او چھوژپکژے ھین گندکی کے تین
Explanatory notes in Dakhani are written in red between the lines of the poem. In the epilogue the author spells out his name, and gives the date of composition, A.H. 1077 (A.D. 1666-67), in the following lines:
سویو شین الف ہے و میم لام کاف
فرض کون سو دکھنی مین بولیا ھی ساف
سن یکہزار ھور ستر پوسات
کیا ھون اسی سال مین یو حکات
The poem ends with 4 lines in Persian:
الہی بدہ مومنان را نصیب
کہ نصر من اللہ و فتح قریب
نوشتہ نماند سیہ بر سفید
نویشندہ رانیست فردا امید
