- Scope & Content:
- A Sufi work on Islamic theology; consisting of an Urdu Dakhani poem, entitled Ḵẖūb tarang, with a Persian paraphrase and commentary.
The text of the Dakhani poem is written on the margin (fol. 128, et seq.). It was composed by Ḵẖūb Muḥammad in A.H. 986 (see fol. 130a, marg.), and contains religious teachings of Shaiḵẖ Kamāl Muḥammad. It begins with a preface:
سم اللہ کہون چہت زات
جس رحمن رحیم صفات
زات صفات اسما افعل
جمع مفصل چھنہ ال حال
The poem itself begins (fol. 130a, bottom marg.):
ھے موجود سو کیتی شان
پہلون اسکا کر عرفان
ال موجود و جودی ھوئی
کسکی بہت پر جہتا نہ سوی
Scribe: Mullā Madad, son of Sher Muḥammad.
