Documents and archives from Igualdad y Trabajo mutual aid society. These organisations were part of the first worker’s associations in Chile that provided social security before the advent of compulsory welfare programmes in the early 20th century. The collection contains Acts of board meetings, Membership registers, Accounting books and Correspondence.
Custodial history: The material has been kept by each mutual aid society and for this reason the material is in a state of deterioration.
